Pondpony Rules + Guidelines

This is a list of the rules we at Pond-Ponies have about our species and the group. Please abide by these rules! I will add rules as needed.

ToS

1. We have an official ToS that you can read here - Terms of Service
2. Before purchasing the adopt, you must give us your email address (the same one you use for Paypal). We will email you a full copy of the ToS in the email, and at the end we will state "If you agree to our ToS please reply back stating, "I have read the ToS and Pondpony Rules + Guidelines and agree."
3. After you agree we will invoice / tell you how to pay (points).
4. After you pay we will reply back to the original email with the un-watermarked files
5. You must reply back stating "I have received the digital good I paid for", only after receiving this email will you be put on the Pondpedia Masterlist as the official owner.

Adoption Rules

1. You must be a member of Pond-Ponies to adopt a Pondpony or Fawnpond. This goes for trades, gifts, and re-sales too! Refer to this journal for this reason - pond-ponies.deviantart.com/jou…
2. You may not buy a Pondpony unless you've been on the site for at least a month, this is to help guard against Blacklist evaders. If you are moving to a new account, please link your old one, this way you are not affected by this rule.
3. You must credit the designer of the adopt and Dracini
4. For Fawnponds you must credit the designer and Dracini

Redesign Rules

1. When redesigning, you may not change the traits
2. You may play around with any color changes as long as they remain within that trait
---examples:
--------if you have common colored pond stones you may change the colors as long as they colors remain in the common tier
--------if you have rare colored water you may change the color to any other rare colored water
3. Try to stay within the pondies original theme / concepts
---We do allow / approve 99% of overhaul redesigns
4. You must note the group for any redesigns and show us a before and after
---We will let you know if something isn't allowed or needs to be changed
5. Once the re-design is approved please note Pondpedia with the masterlist entry and let them know you would like for it to be updated

Group Rules

1. Be nice!
2. Only submit Pondpony content
3. Submit to the right folders
4. If you are unsure if something is ok to submit, you can ask either Rainjay-xx, Cherri-Crimzon, or any of our mods!
5. If you have any suggestions on folders, please tell us! We love our members and the feedback they provide!
6. If you see someone making "Pondponies" just contact me about it, don't engage the person or be rude!
7. Do not harass others! You will be given 1 warning, a repeated offense will result in a ban from the group.
8. Have fun!

Submission Rules and Guidelines

1. Your submission must be pond pony related, we do not accept submissions that have nothing to do with the species.
2. Keep it SFW. We have members of all ages in the group and  want to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
3. No seeking journals. We understand wanting a pond pony but seeking journals clutter up the inbox and spam members. We have a seeking journal of our own for that  Link here  ! You can feel free to submit there with what you're offering instead.
4. No submitting designs not on the masterlist, this is to protect staff and members from loosing track of approved designs & fake ones trying to slip through. If you have a MYO and have gotten it approved head over the the masterlist journal  Link here to get yourself a number before submitting!
5.If you've submitted something into the group, you must wait a week before you can resubmit it again. This is to avoid spamming inboxes with the same content and notification fishing. This goes for everything, including journals.

Re-sale Rules

1. You are allowed to resell a Pondpony / Fawnpond but only for the price it was bought for. UNLESS, you've commissioned art of the character.
---If you have commissioned art of your character you may add the original price + amount spent on commissions when re-selling the character.
---If you had a const for drawing your pond with a cash prize you may add that into the resale value as well
---Please note the group about this before you do so. You must show us the art commissioned, tell us the price you bought it for, and then the amount you are looking for. If you don't then you can only sell for what you paid for.
---Please make sure you ask the original artists of the commissions if they are ok with you adding value to a character with the art they created. Just because we've giving the ok doesn't mean they have!
---Please also read the rules stated in the deviation of the adopt, some of the admins and and those with Fawnpond rights have rules you may have to follow as well, especially the re-sell rule.
2. Once a Pondpony is traded it cannot be resold.
3. Unless specified, MYO slots may be re-sold for the original price it was bought for.

Trading Rules

1. You are allowed to gift, trade, and Co-own your Pondpony / Fawnpond, but refer back to the adoption rules and the co-ownership rules.
2. Unless specified, MYO slots may be traded but you must register the original MYO here and comment again when it's been traded and to whom it was traded to.
3. Once a Pondpony has been traded it cannot be resold.

Trading for Merchandise, Art, Vouchers, Digital Gift Cards

1. You are allowed to trade your Pondpony / Fawnpond for merch, art, vouchers, or digital gift cards.
2. You may ask for any amount, there is no limit or restriction on this as long as you don't receive the money directly
3. You may ask for this as add on to your re-sale value but remember to note the group for the re-sale appraisal
4. Please note the group if you intend to do this

Co-ownership 

We are 100% fine with Co-owns, however, there will be some rules regarding them:
1. The max we will allow is a 3-way Co-own. You can have more but officially we will only put three usernames on the masterlist. This is to help us keep track and keep the masterlist tidy. Alternate accounts do not apply to this rule as it is still the same person who owns the Pondpony
2. If the Pondpony is ever traded or sold, all members must agree to the trade or sale! All official members of the co-owned Pondpony must note me saying they are ok with trading or selling the Pondpony. If I don't get a note from all official members of the co-own you cannot trade or sell the Pondpony. This is to protect others with ownership of the Pondpony
3. If a Co-ownership is to be dropped, I must be informed by that member that they are dropping their ownership. The best way to inform me is by leaving a comment on the masterlist entry

Leaving the Community

We understand that tastes change, and while we are sad to see you leave us, we hope you find happiness wherever you end up!
1. If you are intending to to leave the community, please note the group. You don't have to give a reason why, this is for our records!
2. Once this note is received, and you receive an "ok" reply from us, you are allowed to resale you ponds for any amount if you purchased them originally. 
---This means any amount someone is willing to pay can be the price it is resold for
---This does not incldue DTA's, those can only be traded
3. If you received the pond via a trade / gift you are allowed to resale for the original purchase price of the pond. (ie a T1 MYO = $5, original auction price, flatsale price, ect.)
---However, you may add the value of any art you've done or purchased for the character to the original purchase price. You'll have to get them appraised if you plan on doing this, please note the group with the link of the art you purchased / made and the prices for each piece (please also link you commission prices)
3. The above rules are only on a case by case basis, as we don't want someone "repeatedly leaving the community" just to make a profit. Please don't abuse this rule!
4. Once you leave, this does not mean you may never come back, we know people change and we will always welcome past members back.
